    Using the right needle size matters — too small and you’ll struggle to thread your floss; too large and you’ll distort the fabric weave. Size 5 crewel is the ideal balance for the cotton and linen fabrics used across all Abide Embroidery Co. designs when using 4 strands or less. Size 22 chenille needle is perfect for 4-6 strands.
