4 Things to Do While You Stitch

1. Listen

Let Scripture play while your hands work. Apps like Dwell and the ESV Bible read the Word aloud.

2. Pray

Stitch for someone. Pray for them, your family, your church — one stitch at a time.

3. Meditate

Sit with the verse in your hoop. What did it mean then? What does it mean for you now?

4. Memorize

Say the verse aloud as you stitch, until it stays. Hide His Word in your heart (Psalm 119:11).

Abide Embroidery exists to help Christian women slow down and meditate on God's Word through the art of embroidery

Hi! I'm Sarah—founder, maker, inventory taker, and everything-in-between for Abide Embroidery Co.

Embroidering since 2014, it wasn’t until 2020 that I saw a need for more Christ-centered art that you could make with your own hands and hang in your homes.

Abide Embroidery was born shortly thereafter in 2021. Since then, thousands of stitchers have had the opportunity to stitch God’s Word and use that time to meditate, pray, and worship the Lord through embroidery. It’s a privilege to walk each new (and experienced!) stitcher through new designs and help point them to Christ.

Thank you for visiting our store. To God be the glory!
