A friend recommended Abide Embroidery to me a few years ago and I love it! Their designs are great. I’ve done quite a few, some of which I’ve framed and given as gifts which were really appreciated. The instructions, videos, help and advice given is excellent, better than any other company I’ve bought embroidery kits from. I also look forward to the regular emails with other bits of information. I’ve found good books and podcasts through that. It’s so good to find a company that labels itself Christian and lives up to the name. Well done!

Perfect Hobby for a Busy Mom

A few years ago, it became a goal of mine to find a hobby that I could make time for while raising and homeschooling my three (now four) small children. Embroidery has been just that for me! I started with one of the Easter stitch-alongs, and Sarah’s step-by-step videos taught me everything I needed to know to complete my first embroidery project! In the last three years, I have completed nine different projects, graduating from the full kits to buying my own materials (though I still love the convenience of the kits). I have also used one of the kid’s kits to start to teach my girls embroidery. When I found out I was pregnant with my fourth, I worried that my hobby would die, but I quickly realized that nursing a newborn was the perfect time to work on stitching (at least until the baby started grabbing at the floss), and I completed three projects in the first six months of my baby’s life. I have loved decorating my home with embroidery with scripture and lyrics from hymns, and the time spent embroidering gives me a chance to slow down and reflect and rest my mind in the midst of life’s busyness. Abide Embroidery has certainly been a life-giving hobby for me, and I hope to continue stitching and teaching my kids to stitch as they get older.

I have no idea how many projects from Abide Embroidery I've completed at this point, but it's a sizable amount. I started my embroidery learning here and have learned so much. I alllllways get compliments on my projects, and that's totally due to Sarah! Sarah's designs are beautiful, and her video tutorials are perfect for beginners: clear and easy to follow with a wide variety of stitches. Her emails are helpful and encouraging, both with embroidery and spiritually. I've emailed her with questions multiple times, and she has always responded quickly. I would 100% recommend this company (and have many many times).

Absolutely love Abide! I only have experience with the kits and stitch alongs so far but I am looking forward to moving toward the digital guides soon! I have absolutely LOVED the patterns and step by step video tutorials! Sarah helped me feel confident I could see a beautiful, seemingly intricate design and broke down the steps in easy to complete sections to complete a masterpiece. I have slowly converted my mom, friends and my mom’s friends to join me in the stitch-a-longs and study God’s word at the same time.

Every pattern I have purchased from Abide has been absolutely beautiful! The kits are packaged so nicely with everything you need and perfectly clear instructions, even if you do not use the QR code. The box also works great to keep your project in as you are stitching! For the past few years I have always had an Abide project going. A wonderful project to work on while meditating on scripture, praying , or listening to praise and worship music.
