“Take Heart, I Have Overcome the World” Embroidery Kit

The directions and video tutorials have been perfect in helping me learn to embroider. Such a beautiful pattern!

This design is beautiful! I have loved working on it as part of the annual Easter stitch-along . There is an interesting variety of texture and technique, but it’s still perfectly accessible for a beginner. A hoop stand will really help make all the French knots a breeze if you have one, but it’s not required. This verse is very near to my heart and such a powerful reminder of Jesus’ finished work on the cross. Take heart, indeed!

Though I’ve stitched up other patterns, this is my first stitch-a-long with Abide. Ot was a great experience all around. The pattern was clearly printed in the fabric and the community was wonderful to be a part of. I absolutely recommend both stitch-a-longs and patterns. ⭐️

My aunt purchased each of us a kit and we shared photos back and forth of our progress. I really appreciate the detailed pattern and how wonderfully packaged all the materials are! Looking forward to the next stitch along!

About this Easter kit, and I’m thrilled with the quality. The instructional videos are very helpful and better than some. I’ve watched from other companies. I love the design and I’m excited to finish it soon. I can tell that great Care went into producing this kit.

I’ve seen may stitch alongs that I’ve considered joining but I never actually did so until the Abide Easter one. I had been eyeing their patterns for awhile and I thought this was meant to be- I already listen to my Bible while stitching at lunchtime so this just made sense.

The format is so easy to follow and breaks it up so you get stuff done without it being overwhelming. The group itself is wonderful as well. I’d recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I have purchased kits (both physical and digital) from several vendors and the one from Abide has been the most detailed and easy to learn thus far. The digital pdf guide comes with detailed instructions from start to finish- prepping the hoop, embedded links to tutorials, devotional resources and even a Spotify playlist for your stitching time. This step by step guide has everything you need for a successful project- perfect for beginners, and yet challenging enough for an intermediate! I’ll be back for more!

Everything in this kit (and all the other kits I have purchased from Abide Embroidery) are very high quality. The hoop, TWO pieces of pre-cut material, TWO needles, full skeins of DMC brand floss, and pre-cut felt for backing already all well-made components from brands with a reputation for high quality. Abide Embroidery does not skimp on the quality of the components in their kits!

Just got this for my birthday and I’m so excited to start! One of my favorite verses!

The fabric is the perfect color and the thread compliments it nicely. Can’t wait to finish it and enjoy it on my wall.

This is a very nice pattern (about the 4th or 5th one of hers I've done). I really like the Bible meditation aspect included in the instructions.

This is my 4th stitch along (2nd Easter) and I don’t foresee ever stopping! The design is well thought out, and absolutely stunning. And even as a stitcher with a stash of floss now, I LOVE the convenience of the kit and having everything you need packaged up neatly and ready to go!! I just completed this pattern as part of the 2026 Easter stitch along. I loved the colors, pattern, and look of this project. It was a great mix of stitches that felt comfortable for me and stitches that pushed me out of my comfort zone to make me a better stitcher. The message was an encouragement to reflect on every time I pulled this out to stitch. I love doing these projects because there is no guesswork involved! The guide is a wonderful resource for every single part of the project. I also love having something meaningful to do with my time when I want to sit for a little bit that does not involve scrolling on my phone. I feel like it sets a good example for my children to see.

I purchased the “Take Heart, I Have Overcome the World” and have been thoroughly impressed with its excellent quality! The instructions are well-written, and the accompanying pictures/diagrams are fabulous. My favorite aspect of this guide, however, is the inclusion of the Bible study, inspiring me to “think on these things” (Phil 4:8) while stitching.

This is my third year to participate in the annual Easter Stitch-a-long with Abide Embroidery and this year's pattern does not disappoint! The beautiful yellow backdrop of material along with the vibrant colors of green grass and gorgeous flowers, reminiscent of Psalm 23, is such a beautiful reminder of God's goodness to us! He HAS overcome the world, and being able to stitch while listening to scripture and an encouraging playlist with this stunning Abide kit, is such a comfort and joy!

I love your stitch alongs and the intentionality that have been put into them. Taking the time to slow down and meditate on biblical truths while getting to stitch a beautiful design couldn’t be a better combo!

I have loved every design I’ve stitched from Abide. I have really loved this “Take Heart” design! Working on the grass and flowers has helped pull me back toward peace during a chaotic time of my life. Sitting there, working on this beautiful design, focusing on the verse as Resurrection Sunday approaches has been such a needed slow down for me!

A ‘cheater’ printed embroidery fabric is the way to go for me! It is printed well, dark enough to see but light enough to be hidden with stitches. And the designs are always wonderful!

My sweet friend got me started on this. (now I have another great habit.😂😂). I’ve really enjoyed the playlist and the scriptures that go along with this. It has made my Lenten season more meaningful. I’m enjoying seeing what other people are posting as well in the FB group. Believe me, I’ll be back for more.!
