“By His Wounds We Are Healed” Digital Guide

This is my second ever embroidery and the stitch along with videos made it even easier! It turned out beautiful and I was so happy to try several new stitches. I’m thankful I found Abide embroidery. I’m already working on ‘the Lord is my Shepard’ kit!!

This was my first 'proper' embroidery pattern, and it has definitely given me the bug to do more. The tutorial is good, but the videos are what really held my hand during the project. I've learned so much and it's given me the confidence to do another pattern.

I was invited to this Stitch-Along and a little bit hesitant to join, because I has no experience in embroidery.
But I decided to go for it and enjoy the ride. But wow! I think I have a new hobby/ addiction. This was so fun! And Sarah's clear videos helped me step by step, so there was no reason to be afraid.
So if you have no experience like me, don't worry and give it a go!

I hesitated to join the 2024 Embroidery stitch-a-long; I have never embroidered and was certain it would be difficult.

I ended up signing up.

And my initial assumptions were wrong….

The embroidery kit arrived and the first thing I noticed was that it had obviously been packed with great care! I felt like I was opening a gift sent to me by a friend! The attention to details and the warmth of how everything was presented in the box was absolutely beautiful and welcoming.

Since I am new to embroidery, I relied heavily on the videos, which were so clear, concise and detailed just enough to give me the confidence I needed to try each unique stitch.

My finished piece turned out beautifully; I love it so much…but honestly it pales just a bit compared to the joy and encouragement I received through combining stitching with the accompanying scripture, prayer and worship song each day. I eagerly looked forward each morning to stitching, but even more so to God’s word,. What an incredible way to help prepare my heart as we approach Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday!

If you have any doubts whether embroidery is for you; Abide Embroidery is the perfect way to give it a try…you will be very glad that you did!

I’ve done a couple of stitch-alongs and I’ve really enjoyed them and learned new embroidery stitches & techniques. I love the patterns and I love that she includes scripture reading and a playlist each time. They’re a great way to learn to embroidery.

I've really enjoyed the stitch along! I fell behind the group a little bit, but I wanted to include my WIP. The pattern is wonderfully put together, and the video resources are excellent. Thank you so much for all you do!

This Easter stitch-along was so fun and restful! I utilized my kiddos’ nap time to embroider and this was the perfect way to slow down, meditate, pray, and listen to the Bible and podcasts. This has been incredibly refreshing and life-giving! I learned so much throughout this process - all thanks to Sarah’s clearly detailed guide and videos. She was also extremely quick to respond with super helpful tips! The ministry and mission of Abide Embroidery Co. has been such a blessing to me. I can’t wait to keep learning with more of these guides!

I joined late, but did finish on time. I'm still working through the devotional portions, but the project is done as I wanted it done for Christmas. It's beautiful and I did still meditate on Easter, if not the specific scriptures. I look forward to completing the scripture portion as I stitch another Abide project.

I’ve been following Abide for quite a while, but was nervous to try my hand at embroidery as I’ve never done anything remotely like it before. This kit was so beautiful, however, that I was persuaded to give it a go. I must say, this was the most thoughtful, well-done introduction to the craft I could have hoped for. While I wouldn’t call it “easy” (nothing worth doing is!), it is absolutely beginner-friendly. The step-by-step videos provided with the stitch-along were so helpful, and there is plenty of floss included in case of any mistakes along the way. It’s a testament to Sarah’s skill as a teacher that my (nearly) finished product is a reasonable facsimile of the example — something I never expected to produce on a first attempt. Now I’m looking ahead to my next project with excitement! If you’re a beginner nervous about trying a new hobby, I cannot recommend this kit highly enough. Or if you're an experienced stitcher, go grab the digital guide and enjoy this beautiful pattern.

I have watched Abide Embroidery Co from a distance for a couple of years and finally worked up the courage to try it out. This was my first hand embroidery project and I do not think I could have picked a better one. I had so much fun learning each stitch in this pattern, learning from Sarah and others through the stitch-along class, and completing this first project. It was so fulfilling to be still and see the piece come to life with each stitch. Each part of this project brought joy and peace to my heart. This has easily become my newfound favorite hobby. I look around my home and think “oh I could embroider that!” I am adding a photo of my unfinished hoop!

The pattern is beautiful and it was so easy to follow along with the digital guide and instructional videos! It has been so meaningful to intentionally slow down to reflect on Jesus' life, death, and resurrection before Easter. I would definitely participate in another Abide Embroidery Easter Stitch-Along!

Every Abide Embroidery kit I’ve purchased has been nothing short of extraordinary! Sarah is very interactive with any questions you might have along the way. This stitch along was a nice way to sit and reflect on the reason why we are stitching. The daily reference videos were a great way to look back on for reassurance during certain stitches. I am already looking forward to the next stitch along!

Loved this stitch along!! Every detail is thought out and taken care of. You have everything you need and more in the kit. Highly recommend participating in an Easter (or Christmas) stitch along with Abide!

I have done three Easter stitch alongs and this one was my favorite! I’m not new to embroidery, but the videos were still very helpful. I learned how to correct some of the stitches that I struggled with! I look forward to every project Abide designs.

This was my third Easter stitch along. The digital guide is well laid out and very easy to follow. This pattern was fun to work on and each day had just the right amount of stitching.

I throughly enjoyed this stitch along! Easy to follow pdf instructions and great videos to follow along with. Love how thought out the Bible readings, prayers and songs are! Great way to reflect on God’s Word and make something beautiful!

The patten was beautiful and the instructions and videos were so easy to follow. The Facebook group was fun to connect with other stitchers and see their progress. Will definitely purchase more from Sarah in the future!

Stunning! I am so excited when I unpacked my Easter stitch-a-long kit for 2024. The colors are beautiful! The stitches are some I already know and a few new ones, so thanks to Sarah’s tutorials, I was able to learn how to do them prior to our stitching time! This entire kit is organized in an efficiently packaged way, everything I could possibly need to make a beautiful creation, while resting into the season of Lent and the upcoming celebration of Christ’s resurrection!!
