I loved the pattern and how mine came out. I think there could be more step by step images of the process in the pattern but overall I loved the process and definitely want to try other patterns !

Beautiful pattern. The videos of the stitches were helpful. I thought the written instructions could be slightly more detailed, for example explaining where to start stitching the circle of the sun.

Over the years I have done many sewing projects, embroidery projects, and quilting with a variety of patterns and instructions. Nothing frustrates me more than hitting a roadblock when I can’t make sense of the instructions and have to improvise or “guess”. Abide embroidery kits and digital patterns are completely thorough and clear. As I am a visual learner the videos have been an amazing tool each step of the way. I’m even learning some things I didn’t know (for instance, no one ever told me to pull the floss from the numbered end of the skein!) My daughter gave me the Abide embroidery kit for my birthday and I started it yesterday. I refer to the videos each time I’m going to start a new section and it has made the process seamless! I purchased the 2025 Easter “In Christ Alone” for myself and gave my daughter money to buy her own digital copy and we are going to work the sampler and follow the devotions that go with it together! The “Lord is my Shepherd” digital pattern will be worked after that. What a creative and inspirational way to combine the love of God’s Word with the love stitching. Well, well, done!

Being a beginner I was worried that this would be too difficult but the instructions were so well written that it gave me great confidence. The directions are so clear and helpful! While intimidating at first, the videos walk you through every stitch with ease and build your “stitch vocabulary.” Soooo worth the buy.
