“But God” Embroidery Digital Guide

When I saw this pattern, I knew I needed it. Those words spoke to me during a very difficult time in my life. It took a day to make it & it is so beautiful. I love all of her work, you can see the joy of the Lord in her work! Thank you for creating such a meaningful piece.

I have made this pattern numerous times now and it is definitely a favorite!!! I am beginner level and the pdf guide and videos are so helpful and I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all. I also had a few questions about how my leaves didn’t look like hers. I sent and email and got a very prompt response and she was so helpful!! Definitely my favorite place to get patterns!

I have been wanting to try out embroidery but was doubting I would be able to do it. The instructions were perfectly detailed and the videos showing the different stitches helped out so much. Can’t wait to do another one!

This was my 1st PDF embroidery kit and it took a little bit of tracing, but other than that it was great. The videos are really helpful and I'm so happy with the end product. I added some more flowers and leaves than were in the original pattern but that's part of the joy of embroidering; making it your own.

I love this design. I love the stitches. I love the colors. I can't say enough about it....the stitch guide was perfect. I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos on stitches that were new to me but...I love it so much I am no longer gifting it...this is mine :)

I had to do this one because these words are so important to me. 13 year old grandson to a stroke because of a burst AVM and endured many surgeries in a long stay in the hospital. I began a journal entitled, “but God
“at the beginning of this long, courageous and triumph-full story. It brought me much joy.

I'm new to embroidery so needed all the help I can get, and this tutorial was so easy to follow - it just makes sense! Video links were super helpful to watch how things should be done. I definitely feel like I've picked up lots of tips and learned good habits by following an Abide tutorial. So glad I started here! I thought the But God text would take ages (that's a lot of floss!) but Sarah's version of long short stitches made it quicker and quite relaxing. Good for giving perfectionists a break.
