This was a fun pattern to do! I like the follow along instructions that have passages to remind you why this pattern is so great.
I loved the He Is Risen design. The instructions were so clear and easy to follow. And the final result was beautiful. I’ve done many different embroidery projects over the years, but I think this one is one of my favorites. I changed the words into my language (Slovene) and it turned out great!
I took the plunge and picked out this pattern, which is gorgeous, and I was so grateful for the way Sarah held my hand through the whole thing through her videos and resources. I made mine as a gift for a friend, and as I stitched I prayed for her and all that I hoped God would do to encourage her this year. I can’t wait to start the next one!
It was so fun to participate in the Lent stitch-along. The videos were clear and easy to follow, the devotions attached were great, & it was fun to have a FB community of people to share progress with and ask clarifying questions about technique. Looking forward to the next one!
Doing this stitch along leading up to Easter was so centering and meaningful. The instructions were detailed and easy to follow, and the finished product is just beautiful!
The videos were so very helpful in keeping me on track and helping me finish my project, as well as guiding my stitching by demonstrating it and giving practica tips. I learned a better way to tie off my stitches on the back, how to do French knots, and the long-short stitches for filling in a large area. Tips for finishing the hoop were also helpful. I loved that all the videos dropped at one time because I was able to work ahead while on a road trip, knowing I wouldn't be able to work the following week. My two daughters ages 9 and 13 also did this project with me and it sparked in them a love of embroidery.
This was my first pattern from Abide and won’t be my last. I loved participating in the stitch along. The pattern was well though out and the guide made it easy to complete before Easter. I already plan on purchasing the Christmas stitch along, and Easter 2024 and Christmas 2024… you get the idea.
Sarah makes embroidery very doable. She provides videos to each stitch and piece of the pattern.

Easy to follow, and very beautiful
In the era of AI and cheaper patterns, I am finding some patterns lacking, but that is not the case here! The patterns are detailed and have resources for connecting with God. It really is worth the price!
