I’m working on stitching this onto a Christmas stocking! I know it’s an old stitch along pattern, but I really loved this design so I’m working on this instead of doing the 2025 stitch along. Sad to miss out on the community but I’m excited to create this design!

As soon as I saw the idea of an embroidery advent I knew it was what I wanted to do with my girls and mother. Having a beautiful project broken into small and simple steps with a focused thought for each day of the holiday season is perfect. The videos are the icing on top…seeing how to do each stitch is extremely helpful for my girls who are beginners. Love the whole idea and look forward to more projects in the future!

This is my second pattern from Abide Embroidery and only my second embroidery project. Both have turned out almost exactly like the photos despite me being an absolute beginner, which is testimony to how great these patterns and instructions are! Such beautiful designs and a great chance to slow down and do some stitching and reflection during a busy time of year.

I enjoyed this SAL. I just bought the pdf and followed along. The step by step instructions for particular spots in pattern were very good. It kept me from having to unstitch spots. I love the design so much that I keep mine in a hutch with glass so I can see it all year round.
