17-Stitch Practice Embroidery Digital Guide

This was my first embroidery kit and project and it didn’t disappoint! The kit was so well curated, the pdf was beautiful put together and incredibly helpful view links were included. This was a breeze and now I’m totally addicted!

I did some embroidery about 20 years ago on my own… just mostly a bunch of straight stitches on patterns I made myself. But I am loving these Abide embroidery kits and learning so many cool stitches. Love the quick and clear videos of how to make each stitch and how everything I need to make the project comes with the kit. Enjoyed doing this starter kit while sitting around with the family over the holidays. Will be purchasing other kits!

Super easy pattern to follow, beautiful colours and intricate details. I did this one on a bag for church and loved how it came up!

This was truly my first embroidery EVER! And the instructions made it so easy to practice the different stitches. I was nervous to start the Easter 2025 stitch a long, but after completing this practice first, not only am I enjoying this hobby, I am so happy with how my Easter stitch is coming out. Thank you for the beautiful designs and how you glorify God through this fellowship and dwelling on the word of God!

Ordered one of these for my neice who saw me embroidering at Christmas, she did amazing with it and was able to follow the videos! I was so impressed! I also then ordered one because I wanted to learn and practice more types of stitches - it was a great shared experience for us and I would absolutely recommend these kits to anyone!! They are amazing and I love all of the extra content in the PDFs to encourage a deeper time of worshipful meditation.

I bought two kits, one for my friend and I to do together. She’s just beginner her embroidery journey, but I’m a little ways in.

My only suggestion is the order of stitches should be different, there’s some stitches that should come before others as some are more complicated or build on the easier/starter stitches. That would be my only suggestion.

Otherwise the directions are detailed and thorough. The color choice of thread is pretty. I love the abundance of stitches taught…17!!

My girl friend and I are looking forward to finishing up this kit and doing more!

This is one of the most unique samplers I’ve seen. I have the basic stitches down but I enjoy practicing them and this sampler was a beautiful design that I couldn’t pass up. Well thought out, clear instructions, and beautiful colors. Abide is quickly becoming one of my favorite go to designers.

I have never sewed a thing in my life. This kit had everything I needed to get started, and the tutorial content was outstanding and very instructive. I completed my first embroidery project and love what I was able to create! I can’t wait to get started on my next hoop. Hopefully I’ll get better with more practice!

I started embroidery the last few days of October with some Amazon kits and a stitch book then immediately jumped into ornaments and bookmarks for family Christmas gifts. I’m excited to practicing with a sampler I really like that points me back to Jesus and will be a great display piece for decor!

I bought the 1st practice kit but needed more practice with the stitches so I've bought the 17 stitch practice kit. I hope to be able to practice enough to complete a real kit soon. If I can't, it's of no fault of the creator of Abide. She has made it so easy to learn by providing all the materials, written out instructions with visuals and step by step tutorials on line. Please pray for me as I continue to try to stitch and pray for the patience to learn this new skill.

I loved this kit! I was so intimidated to start learning, but the kit comes with everything you need. The directions are clear and simple
And the step-by-step videos made it easy and enjoyable to learn. I’ve continued practicing the stitches and have referred back to the videos when I need a refresher. This is definitely a hobby I will continue. Thanks for such a great kit and learning resource!

This was so much fun to do. I loved all the different stitches. I’ve been embroidering for years and learned some new stitches! I loved the You Tube videos to go along with learning the new stitches. I would recommend this sampler for beginners and experienced embroiders. I loved it!

Kit had everything I needed, directions were great and the video’s were so helpful. Even my little granddaughters can do this.

However I was told it would be wrapped and would have a card letting her know it was a gift from me. There was no wrapping and no card. She called me and showed me what she received. While the outer blue bag was lovely. I don’t think its intent was gift wrapped. Likewise, she reached out to me to ask if I knew why she had received the package.
The kit was lovely, but the promise to wrap and include a card were not completed—and it was offered by the seller as an option. I’m giving 3 stars due to this. I hope this will help eliminate a mistake happening to someone else. It took her excitement away as she thought she received a delivery by mistake. I’m disappointed but grateful nonetheless she did receive her kit.
