I loved stitching this adorable little pattern. I ordered the digital guide and transferred the pattern myself. I used the colors that were recommended. It was fairly easy to stitch yet several different stitches were used which helped me get more practice. The instructions that came with the digital guide were very helpful, and there were videos available showing how to do the different stitches.
I bought the PDF and this is my 3rd PDF project through Abide. I had an incredibly hard day one day and stitched the “It Is Well” that evening. It greatly helped to think through “whatever my lot, though hast taught me to say, It Is Well…”. I also like this PDF because it has links to go directly to her YouTube videos to learn each stitch. Love that feature!

I really like having small, simple designs to be able to do as gifts for friends (usually on small canvas pouches that I get from Hobby Lobby for $1-3 each).
While I have not yet completed this pattern, I can easily see it making its way onto more than one of those as well as perhaps wood coasters; we shall see.
It includes everything one would hope for in an embroidery pattern, and the text seems so well balanced with the leaf and flower elements.

This is my 5th pattern. The instructions are so easy to follow and make for such a fun and relaxing stitching experience. I credit Abide Embroidery for helping me find an enjoyable hobby. She makes it affordable and her instructions easy enough for beginners. The Youtube channel is so helpful-even when doing other patterns I look up abide embroidery video tutorials.
