I love this pattern. It was so much fun to stitch and is so cute!

There was a point where I thought I would never be finished with French knots. (Until learning the chain stitch on the “Isaiah 43” pattern French knots had been my most difficult stitch) but through this project I really improved and I think this may be my most favorite project to date. I’m so glad I didn’t give up when I felt mildly overwhelmed by the amount of knots. It’s a perfect addition to my mantle.

I am so happy I stumbled upon this embroidery pattern while searching for a cross stitch project for Christmas. I had never done embroidery before but the pattern was so beautiful I could not resist trying. The guide for this is so thorough that even a beginner can handle it. It’s my first ever embroidery project, so the result is not perfect, but I learned so much and enjoyed it enough to buy the ornament patterns next. A bonus is that I didn’t realize when I purchased that this project came with a Facebook group full of support and videos from the owner of this shop. I couldn’t have done it without that and personal instruction from the shop owner who is so kind and really cares about helping others. Cannot recommend this shop enough and I know I’ll keep purchasing in the future!

I'm fairly new to the world of embroidery and have primarily used well-written guides from a few secular sources. Unfortunately, as with so many arenas, the Christian creators I have seen leave a lot to be desired in their patterns. That was until I discovered Abide!

Not only are the patterns lovely & Christ-exalting, but the level of detail included in the pattern incorporates the various helps to which I had become accustomed (& had all-but given up hope that Christian designs might include).

The patterns are clearly marked with stitch types and number of threads. (I realize these are only suggestions and I can tweak them as I please.)

Because this was originally used for an advent stitch-along, it also includes day-by-day instructions (with devotional thoughts) as well as video instructions, to "keep you company," which is fun.

I like that it also incorporates beginner-friendly tips (complete with photos!) for preparing fabric as well as transferring the design.

I also love the simplicity of this particular pattern annd that it includes less common design elements, especially for a Christmas design--for instance, green hills!

One tiny criticism is that the fabric-sourcing tip is outdated, since Jo-Ann fabrics is now sadly out of business.

Instructions were easy to follow! I had doubts in the beginning whether I could do this but in the end it turned out really good.

The video tutorials included are great. Sometimes I forget exactly how to do a stitch and Sarah makes them easy to find via links to her YouTube channel.

It’s my first attempt at learning embroidery - and I’m so thankful for this plan! I downloaded it on my phone and reference it often. It’s detailed enough to keep this newbie going!

It is so easy to order a digital download through your website, I have never had any problems. The instructions are always so clear and specific to what color floss I need to buy. The pattern is very easy to transfer onto my fabric. And I love the variety of stitches… Christmas is such a special time and I cannot wait to display this when it is finished !

The design us single yet beautiful. Instructions are wonderful for a beginner, yet someone experienced will enjoy this pattern as well.
